Skincare Haul | Innisfree, Neogen, COSRX from BeautyMNL and Skincare Curator

So I'm back from a long hiatus! 2017 has been a busy and challenging year but reviving this blog is one of my goals this 2018. To start the year right, I'm all for stepping up my game when it comes to my skincare routine. I'm not getting any younger and efforts must be exerted towards delaying the appearance of those wrinkles!

So here are the items I purchased. I decided to try these Korean products because every beauty junkie is raving about them. Between you and me, I would admit I sort of semi-splurged on this haul but honestly, if it's for my skin then I don't mind spending. I hope the products work well with my skin! This will be my first time to try all of these brands.

From BeautyMNL
I only intended to purchase the Green Tea Seed Serum but it is always sold out! Luckily, I browsed further and found this set at a very reasonable price!
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Special Care Set
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum Special Care Set
Foam, serum, and cream
What's inside (description from BeautyMNL website):
The Green Tea Seed Serum (80ml full size): A highly-moisturizing cult-fave serum formulated with Dual Moisture-Rising Technology to protect skin.
The Green Tea Seed Cream (20ml mini): A lightweight, antioxidant-packed moisturizer that’s quickly absorbed by skin.
The Green Tea Cleansing Foam (30ml mini): A facial wash that helps skin retain moisture.
This set is perfect as a starter skincare kit. Innisfree is a Korean brand that creates products with ingredients from Jeju Island. This brand is a cult-favorite and takes pride in using only premium quality ingredients coupled with eco-friendly production and packaging.

This tub contains 100ml of product with 92% snail secretion. One of these days I will make a separate post on snail secretion and its benefits to the human race. lol For now, I can say that it is useful for its moisturizing and anti-aging properties.

COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All In One Cream
I first discovered this product from Rachel Nguyen's YouTube video on 10-Step Korean Skincare [the best video in my opinion covering this topic] and I have not stopped thinking about it then! Okay I'm being so extra. But seriously, this product has been on my to-buy list far too long so I'm glad I finally caved and got it. To clarify, this product falls under exfoliators, both physical and chemical. I will discuss more in depth once I do a full review on this product.

NEOGEN Bio-Peel Gauze Peeling Wine
Here's a short video on how to use it.

2. COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence
I have never tried incorporating essences in my skincare routine. I've been a cleanse-tone-moisturize kind of girl ever since. I heard that essences are the heart of Korean skincare. It is applied after toners, right before serums and moisturizers. Hyaluronic acid keeps collagen synthesis up and aids the skin to retain moisture. It delays skin aging and promote skin elasticity. Excited to try this since I've read raining positive reviews about it!
COSRX Hyaluronic Acid Hydra Power Essence

I'll make a separate review on the products after I tried them for a month or two. I'm so excited to try them all out. I'll try my best to fight those too-tired-to-skincare nights for optimum results!

  1. Hi Ms. Jen! Glad I found your blog through IG. Nice haul! I've been using Korean skin care products for nearly a year now and although I haven't tried any of the ones in your list here, I'd say it's worth the try. Can't wait for your review on the Neogen gauze peeling pads! That wine variant is on my wish list. ;)
